New Class Member

Welcome to the newest member of our class! Mya joined our class on Friday. She transferred to FLE from another school within our county. We are excited to have Mya in our class. I am sure that she will have a great time at FLE and make loads of new friends. We are glad that she joined our class for our 3rd grade journey.

Math Review Time

Each day we spend our Math review time "playing" different Math games. This helps to reinforce Math concepts that we have learned throughout the year. It also gives Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Turner time to work individually with students.

Media Festival Project

Our class in conjunction with Mrs. Johnson's class worked hard on our Media Festival project. Our project is titled American Pillow. We made pillows to send forward (to Afghanistan) as a thank you to the troops that are protecting us

We learned how to: create iron on transfers, how to iron the transfers onto the pillow shell, how to stuff the pillows and finally how to whip stitch the pillow closed. We had a great time completing this project. We hope you enjoy the video....don't forget to turn on your speakers
