Third Grade Social Studies standards dictate that third grade students learn about several historical figures. As the students learned about these people and their contributions to the history of the United States, we also discussed their character traits---diligence, perseverance, tolerance, honest, justice, respect for authority, liberty and cooperation. To demonstrate the knowledge the students garnered from their studies, they each completed a Cereal Box Report.
